“Never, never, never give up!” -W. Churchill
“I rise before dawn and cry out for help. My HOPE is in your words.” -Psalm 119
TAKE HEART!
Have you ever wakened before dawn with so much on your mind you can’t sleep? You can’t lie there. Yet, you don’t want to get out of bed. Who hasn’t lived a while and not had a “covers over the head” morning?
But luckily for us, we have an alternative way to meet the day ahead. We can choose not to give up. We can choose not to give in. When we find ourselves awake before dawn, we can cry out for help.
Not in the “woe is me” cry but in the cry out like someone is there and prepared to come to our rescue.
Facing the dawn with HOPE that sunrise brings us one day closer to our rescue; one day closer to our dreams conquers the fear. Fear lives in the darkness of night.
Maybe sunrise was invented just to show us the HOPE of new beginnings.
