I found a picture of me playing the ukulele at the age of 5.

The look on my face is pure joy and the thrill of thinking “I am doing this. Who knows what else I can do?

I’ll try all kinds of things and be good at them, probably.”

It was the face of possibilities. It is the face of HOPE.

I have come to realize that many I have met over the years spent time telling me one way or another the reasons why I can’t succeed at the things I am willing to try.

Fortunately, not everyone! And even more fortunately, I didn’t always listen to those voices. Maybe you recognize those voices too.

The difference for me was HOPE. It helps me to write them maybe it will help you to read them..
